Hi, I don't do any but I like to watch them pass by near my house.

Beautiful picture!
I am often surprised by the beauty and size of some pleasure boats.

We're there waves to scare you a bit or slow river to relax?
0 -

Can't I just stand in a canoe?

id be so scared tbh

IT is only water...

Many are afraid of water, especially those who cannot swim
0 -
Yes, true...but flotation help is easy....if you wear it.

I really like boating, I've been on a ferry several times and taken a few short walks.
I often see SeeDoo but I find that many are not careful with it.

All boating can be fun, and all have risks. But like the moth and candle...better to have lived.

Having a boat, for me it wouldn't be for racing but for looking at the landscape and going for a walk. Have something to relax and that doesn't make a hell of a noise. Many like to fish and it goes well with a small boat.

Nice, one with nature.

Same here, I can't swim honestly

Really nice how you admire the nature and water, away from the city crowds

Got a few boats photos on my last trip to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

same here! Can't swim! And deepest fear is the deep water, I believe here it's around maximum on the 150-200m deep water

What's the deepest bottom in our Saint-Lawrence River? In Meters
0 -
Are you thinking of tossing a tall person?
I would guess without checking 20m or less as average, keep in mind the big tankers have a pretty deep draft. In the Sinclair river I was at 20m depth and a tanker sailed by above me....pretty scarry, it all went dark and noisy.

I wish but I'm not wealthy enough.
1 -
No sorry, not a boater, but would like to be one of these days maybe a pontoon
yours is very nice
0 -
Yeah man that's still pretty scary 20m deep all dark. A person that I know fell in the water a few years ago, some girls pushed him, and he running water was pretty strong behind Roxboro, Québec in the West Island of Montréal and yeah we never got him after, he was young in his 20s, passed away real young...

Wow, how sad. Yes it can be life threatening if unexpected.
1 -
My god very sad!

Yeah man forsure...

I wish I had a boat, but I can't swim.. Not sure it's a good idea!

With a flotation device adapted for you, at your weight there is no real problem.
You have to put her and not have her in the boat.

Learning to swim is something every child needs to learn at an early age. Learning water can be dangerous and how to respect the weather certainly helps keep people alive. Life jackets are mandatory on boats and not drinking or doing drugs help keep the death rate low. But the many adventures and memories of summer fun is priceless.

I agree that this would be a good thing.

I agree. Unfortunately, when I was a child, I was afraid to put my head in the water, fearing of not being able to breathe. I panic when I can't touch the bottom. I had a small trauma, we can say…

Fishing for salmon… no dice. But still fun.

But no I haven't tried Panda donuts. Where is it? is it new?1 -
Nope it's at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, it's an Asian donut shop selling donuts, coffee, bubble tea, they are even better than Timmies! I always grab some when I pass by 🙂 you should try it out! No taxes when you buy 6 or more!

A most illusive tool, but when one wants to overcome...
This opens the rams in the tilt/trim. Really tough without it.
One of my successful projects. All stainless steel.
Re-did all wood in new and wrapped in carbon fiber.
Lots of fun, a few mistakes but all good. Used more epoxy than I was expecting but happy with results.
And I had to add a few personalized items.
And after planning only had this amount of scrap:
But I found best to have a relaxed time frame. Some things take time.
Any projects you did or helped out in to add to the post? Did it float?
Happy with results? Still in use? Cost effective?

I repainted a canoe that was old and debossed etc. I still have it.
