Very good modification. For me travelling. I did change my plan to basic: 1GB only data local plan, no calls or texts, only 7$/month. But, remember to put some money like 5$ in your Fizz Wallet, so that you can make or receive emergency calls or text. If you don't want use the service at all, you can cancel it on the day you travel and reactivate when you back. But you might lost your phone number, I am not sure for that. Hope you have a wonderful trip in Asia!

You can always modify your plan, but attention, no one can guarantee that when you are back you can have the same price and option.

You can quit the plan and open an another one when you come back. There is such an option as you asked about. Even if it was available your economy from 21st until August 30th it would be of around $10.

You can modify your plan so that calls, text messages, and voicemail is off and change the coverage area to just your province instead of US-Canada roaming. For Ontario that will cost $7 per billing cycle. However, you will only be able to change it back after your new billing cycle. So if Aug 30 is in the middle of the cycle, you will have some days with nothing (unless you use add ons). If you want to go ahead with the change, then go to my plan -> manage ->change my plan.2

You can use Travel Add-ons or pay-as-you-go, however, Fizz does not yet support calls while traveling abroad, therefore, you will only be able to use data. You can find more information on Travel Add-ons here and Pay-as-you-go here .

Very good advice in case if you can find the same plan at your return. Unfortunately, Fizz increased the prices for the plans in Quebec now.
