Kids mentioned that internet is not working smoothly
Hi all,
Kids have complained that service is not very much stable and it is varying and sometimes not working. My sister in the area is having similar issue and not able to work fro home.
Anyone in pointe-claire seems to be having such issue also? If this keeps on like this then it might be time to change.

Try restarting your modem, if it doesn't help contact customer support!

Can you try to reboot the modem?
Also you should try to disable the bandsteering and connect to the 2.4Ghz to be sure that is not a wifi problem

Probably is a congestion with the Videotron. Your sister try to contact the Videotron's support to see with them? Since Fizz is using the same technology, and if videotron has a problem in your area Fizz is affected too

We are sorry to hear about the situation encountered.After making the necessary verifications into your Fizz account, we noticed that your plan and signals seems to be in order.
Since you are mentioning that your internet is not stable, please make a network scan.
For making it, stand next to your Modem and Open the Fizz Wi-Fi application.From there you will need to tap the 3 dots in the top right to open the application menu and then go to Fizz support and access Tools and support.
You will need to follow the prompts and accept all permissions until you reach the feature screen then click on Network Scan.
Please allow a few minutes until the scan is complete and do not minimize the application in any way as the scan will be interrupted.
