Hi @jwacnc
Videotron, therefore Fizz, have problem in Longueuil
From the videotron site
Videotron teams are mobilized and working to restore services in the areas affected as the power supply is restored:
Wired services (Internet, TV and wired telephony)
Montreal (southern and western sectors of the island, L'Île-Perrot)
South Shore of Montreal (Longueuil, Brossard, Boucherville, Chateaugay, Dorion, Sorel)
North Shore of Montreal (Laval (Fabreville/Ste-Rose), Terrebonne, Mascouche)
Lanaudière (Saint-Gérard-Majella, L'Assomption)

Due to the weather conditions of the last few hours and the power outages that still affect several regions of Quebec, a degradation and, sometimes, an interruption of telecommunications services may affect certain customers.
Videotron teams are mobilized and working to restore services in the areas affected as the power supply is restored:
Wired services (Internet, TV and Home Phone)
- Montreal (southern and western sectors of the island, L'Île-Perrot)
- South Shore of Montreal (Longueuil, Boucherville, Greenfield Park, Sorel, Mercier)
- North Shore of Montreal (Laval (Fabreville), Terrebonne, Mascouche)
- Lanaudière (Saint-Gérard-Majella, L'Assomption)
Mobile Services
- Degradation of mobile services may also affect certain customers in the West Island of Montreal.
IMPORTANT: The return of electrical power and several other factors influence the restoration of services. Even when electricity is back in an area, it is possible that telecommunications services remain affected, particularly if network infrastructures have suffered damage or if they are in an adjacent area that is not yet supplied with electricity.

In the Videotron website, it doesn't mention Laval anymore and still no internet! I received the modem as a new customer yesterday, the technician came in and said all is active, didn't even mention that my sector was offline...
The modem keep blinking in the download light!
Is-it an issue with the modem or my sector (Ste Rose, Laval) still offline?
Thank you
