Why did Fizz charge me the amount for previous monthly plan ?
I have been paying 41.92$ CAD / month (taxes included) for my mobile plan but I changed my plan June 15th to pay less money but Fizz still charged me the same amount as if I didn't update my plan to pay less. Here's a screenshot of the Fizz notification saying they're preparing the new plan for July 2nd for which I was supposed to pay only 39.62$ CAD / month (taxes included).
What do I do to get a refund of the difference ? And how do I get confirmation that I won't be getting the same surprise next month ?

I just re-read you post again and looks like there's no problem here. If you are changing your plan, it will be effective starting with the next billing cycle doesn't matter when you change it during the current billing cycle.

Which is the new billing cycle I guess.

if July 2 begins its new cycle with its new package it must be billed $ 39.62,,, if not it would be August 2 the new packages

You should log in into My account section and see when the change will take place... you were probably too close to the renewal and the change wasn't taken in charge... Otherwise, if everything seems correct, you have to contact Fizz support by chat

Sorry to hear about the issue.
It appears that you received an update via e-mail regarding the situation.
To everyone interested also, there were some recent plan change orders that had to be canceled by the system.
If they progressed further, issues would have arisen with the plans, which would have caused some detriments to the clients.
To avoid the situation, as stated earlier plan changes were canceled.
If you wish, you can still change your plan by going to My plans - Manage - Adjust plan as you did previously, as more details can be found here also : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-change-my-mobile-plan
