what's going on why is activation still pending?
I activated my new sim and ported my number from public mobile over three hours ago, and I still have no service this is crazy. Not only that but my old sim no longer works, so no service at all!
This is costing me money. Especially if I end up losing my phone number God forbid. I thought the service would be better here.
I'm not sure who's at fault here but this unacceptable.

Did your activation end up getting finished? I was quite literally about to start activating my SIM/plan when I cam across your post. I don't want to go through with it if they're having issues today.

This reminds me my activation process. I remember it was Saturday. For my wife's phone number it went smooth but for my number it got stuck (neither my old provider or Fizz was working). I waited till Sunday morning and contacted customer support, they opened a ticket and my issue was resolved only on Monday morning.

It was also on Saturday but went through without any issue. I tried 30 minutes after my wife's activation and it got stuck (not sure why though).
I suggest you to activate yours on Monday just to be safe.

Unfortunately it's a long weekend, probably it will be fixed on Tuesday.
Try to contact customer service again and ask for escalation.
