Migration to VoLTE who got the notice
Who has received a notice that their account will be migrated to VoLTE in the coming days?
This will help the community understand the pace of VoLTE migration.
Please also mention the month of your subscription to see if there is any relation between the accounts being migrated.

I do not have VOLTE or notice for VOLTE- July 2020. I do have a new SIM card with the lightning bolt.
My wife also does not have VOLTE or notice - January 2021. And with a brand new Fizz purchased Pixel 7 with new SIM card.
Looking forward to seeing who has VOLTE and when they got it. Maybe we can figure out if we will make it sometime in April or first week or so of May.

I already have the new lighting VOLTE SIM card. I ordered it a while back, received it, and activated it. My wife got the new VOLTE SIM card when she purchased the new Pixel 7. We both have the SIM card, we are just not activated on VOLTE. But thanks for the suggestion.

I would think that any newly-purchased phone (from FIZZ) along with the new SIM card should automatically be activated for VOLTE but that does not seem to be the case. Very strange how FIZZ is doing this rollout to my way of thinking.

Only the activation of a plan after March 15, 2022 give you access to VoLTE. Since your wife joined before, this doesn't count

I just received the e-mail today. Says that I will be converted within the next 48 hours. I've been with Fizz since November 2018.

No e-mail yet, and joined in February 2019. My wife also joined in January 2019, no email yet either. We both have the red-bolt SIM since July 2022. Based on Code_KRUEW above, seems like it is going in some sort of order perhaps.

I got the email just now, but my wife hasn't yet. She subscribed about 1 month before me. I am on the US plan and she is not, no idea if they are prioritizing based on that. Also a friend got migrated last night and he subscribed on the US plan also about 1 or 2 months before me (Dec 2018 or Jan 2019 instead of me at Feb 2019). Good luck everyone with the "lottery".

They will probably fix the problem or adjust things during the migration.
When did you subscribe?
They already said during the spring. It is true, they never communicate any road map/planning but it is normal, we are only customer here.

Anyway, I prefer to wait a bit longer rather than have a service that is half baked and doesn't work as it should. Happy to wait if Fizz is taking its time to carefully optimize the volte service

For your information, I migrated two weeks ago to VoLTE and I am currently in the United States. I am able to use my phone perfectly and have even been able to use it in areas where there was previously no signal. Currently, my phone is using Verizon's network. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Fizz has been preparing this for a while now so I'd be more optimistic!

Glad to hear. @Whizz mentioned in some post that they partnered with Verizon along with the current AT&T and T-Mobile.

no I don't have the Canada/usa plan
I had my plan during the alpha testing stage in the beginning.
Confirming LTE stays on my screen when I call now. Connection time is much faster. Audio sounds clearer.

To my knowledge, the migration is not over yet. Shouldn’t be long though cause they said it would be done by spring 2023…
