How does upgrade work?
I haven't reached level 3 yet, so I have only one lot to choose an upgrade. Can you use one lot for mobile plan and home internet or does it have to be two lots?
Do they eventually expire?
What happens when you change one upgrade for another? Do you lose the one you changed for?

Yes you will have one slot for each plan, therefore, when you will unlock a new slot, this will be unlock for all your plan mobile or internet
They were suppose to expire after 24 months, but it seems that Fizz removed that, at the moment they never expired
When you apply an update or replace, this will be effective the next billing cycle.
Never remove an update, if you want to replace it, otherwise, you need to wait the next billing cycle to be able to put the new one. You should replace!

You have just one upgrade for each plan. By leveling up, you will unlock other slots and other upgrades. If you want to change you can replace it by clicking on a new one and then, when yours jiggles, just click on it to do the replacement. You never lose upgrades as long as Fizz doesn't choose to completely remove it for everyone, like they did with free voicemail if I'm not wrong.

The most important - replace an update, don't remove'it, to avoid waiting till next billing cycle.
