    Hello @Mario G. #6440 ,

I hope this message finds you well.

As @Jessy_ref_i88b6 mentioned, for a phone to be able to use the Fizz network for placing or receiving calls, it has to be compatible with the HSPA 850 MHz frequency, or the 1900 MHz one. Based on what I know it should not matter if the phone uses the 2G network for placing and receiving calls, however, it is still a desktop phone, therefore we cannot guarantee it will work, but it is worth trying.

    Have a good one!

    Hi @Mario G. #6440

From this page https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices, fizz support only 3G and 4G

An LTE compatible phone configured with LTE network preferences must support:

The HSPA 850 MHz frequency for calls.

The dual frequency 1700/2100 MHz (also called AWS or band IV) for mobile data.

A phone that only allows 3G configuration or HSPA network preference must support:

The dual frequency 1700/2100 MHz (also called AWS)

When you buy a new phone, the supported frequencies are usually listed in the technical specifications. If not, do a search on the Internet. There are sites that will confirm the frequencies supported by your phone once you enter its IMEI in their search engine.
