Urgent: My account will be disactivated. My regular payment rejected, new card rejected
My credit card i've been using for months with Fizz is being rejected.
Got a message via my account that said to check with my credit card company. I called my credit card company and all seems fine - I have credit available, so no reason to be rejected!
My open ticket has not been updated since the day I reported the issue.
Customer service via Facebook - empathizes and acknowledges the problem, but again I see no updates!
My Fizz account will be disconnected in 24hours. I tried my husbands credit card and that was also rejected, yes - i did associate it with my plan. Since it was rejected I unassociated the card to the plan.
This is ridiculous,
- Fizz will not extend the time until it is fixed
- I really need my phone for MFA!
- I only have one credit card - I have ordered a new credit card, why won't you allow me to pay with Debit card just this once!
Very disappointed!

Hi, Daisy, you can pay with a debit card too.
To pay for your Fizz plans, you can use:
- A Visa or Mastercard credit card
- A prepaid Visa or Mastercard
- A Debit Mastercard or Visa Debit card
Only one-off payments are accepted with Vanilla prepaid cards
You CANNOT use:
- American Express (Amex), Dinners and others credit cards
- A debit card
- A foreign credit/debit card
- Funds from your Fizz Wallet

Online I'm given two options mastercard or visa. Even the customer support mentioned same two types of cards.
Sadly I only have the one mastercard, one interact card (Debit). I'll need to apply for a new acceptable card, but thats going to take some time!

There is also a Vanilla prepaid card which is accepted for one-time payment by Fizz.

Unfortunately there is a technical difficulty for the payment methods on the Fizz site. Contact customer service who can open a ticket and escalate your issue to technical support. Go to this page: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/resolving-issues
and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble with a question mark, to your right, click on it and then another click. You can chat with support.

Hi,
Recently there have been issues with Fizz payments using CIBC Costco Mastercard, they are aware of the issue, but for immediate relief I recommend changing your payment method (at least for this 1 payment) until the situation wit the trasnaction broker between Fizz and CIBC mastercard is resolved.
