Unable to use 5x1GB perks if gifted.
This is not the same as previous behaviour.
I gifted a single 1GB Perk from one account to another.
It allows the gift and shows the Perk as gifted in the destination account.
But when I try to use it, a red banner appears saying that an error has occurred, and to try again later.
This occurs on two different accounts, with gifts going to two different people.
Has anyone else had difficulty gifting these new 1GB Perks?

I kindly inform you that the situation encountered was fixed from our end, therefore you can try and apply the 1GB perk again after you delete the cache memory and cookies.

same, earlier this afternoon it gives a red banner with error message. Tried again just now and same.

I think many people report that problem.
Fizz will have to look at it seriously.
