    Hi,

I suggest that you contact Fizz’s support team directly to inquire about that issue, they will be able to do some further investigation to correct this situation. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.

If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

-By private message on Facebook/Messenger: https://facebook.com/fizzca.

-By private message on Twitter : https://mobile.twitter.com/fizz_ca

    -Whatsapp : (438) 393-5814

    Hello @karin,

    • is your modem turning off and on again multiple times or is your Internet connection dropping multiple times a day?
    • if your Internet connection drops but the modem is on, check to see if the modem is dusty, hot, all the cables are secure, etc. Disconnect and reconnect the cables to be sure they are secure
    • if the WIFI drops, unplug the modem for several minutes, plug in and try again
    • if the WIF drops after unplugging and plugging in again, reset the modem to factory settings
    • try connecting your computer to the modem with the ethernet cable to check if the modem has Internet connectivity but not WIFI
    • if the modem is shutting off on its own and powering on again, try plugging the modem in to a different electrical outlet to see if the problem is the same, then you have a faulty modem
    • if the problem does not occur on the other outlet, you may have an electrical issue
    • another method to contact Fizz to exchange your modem is My Settings, Contact Form and submit your request with a brief explanation of the issue

    It may be overheating!

Is it covered? In a cabinet? It needs passive airflow to adequately cooled, just out in the open ON TOP of a table is ideal. I've had issues in the past where routers/switches/access points get too hot due to improper installation.
