unprompted notification for network parameter configuration
I received an unprompted notification for network parameter configuration. I did not activate a SIM recently- but it says "welcome to Fizz" Is this a safety issue? Am I being hacked? Ignore it? Install it?

Maybe a mistake/bug.
A Whizz suggests in the second thread to not click them . I'd add to chat with Fizz if your service behaves strangely, or if you just want to be 100% sure all is fine with your service/account.
Then again there is no harm in checking your APN with the FAQ.

Did you receive this notification by email or text message? I suggest you look into your Fizz account to see if everything is okay. Such notifications can happen from time to time.

@Doomdrou I received by text (SMS) from FIZZ and then a prompt in my Samsung phone settings.
@Philemon24 Thanks for those forum links- it's exactly my situation.
I will chat with Fizz to confirm.
