Switch from Freedom with an iphone

Hi there,


I am currently using freedom and have an iphone.

What would it take to switch to Fizz and keep my current number? Also wondering about the sim card as with the iphone I would be nervous about opening it.

    You don't have to "open up" your phone, you just have to use a paper clip or the tool that had come with your iPhone

    For your phone number, Fizz will take care of transferring it.

    Thank you for reaching us. 
     Glad to see that you are considering having Fizz as your mobile provider. 
    The first thing you need is Fizz SIM. You can buy one from a Couche-Tard in Montreal or order one from your Fizz account. Here you can find more information about this: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-order-sim-card

    Once you have the SIM you can start the activation process and the transfer.
    You can do this from your Fizz account, Overview > get started > mobile > activation.
    You will need for this your IMEI or the account number from your current provider.

    Please keep in mind that only mobile numbers coming from the province of Quebec or the Ottawa region can be transferred.
