"Another Fizz member is already subscribed to the Home Internet service at this address."
Hello,
I am trying to purchase the home internet plan 50$ for 120 Mbit at the new address I am moving to August 1st. The current tenant said to me that they changed their address on the fizz settings. I am still getting this error message:
"Another fizz member is already subscribed to the Home Internet service at this address. That means that to subscribe, you must unfortunately wait until that member unsubscribes."
I need internet as soon as possible since I am working from home, so I would have to buy the service from another provider if I have to. I'd rather not. Is there anything that I can do? Can someone fix this?

As long as the previous tenant has active plan with Fizz, you cannot subscribe to the service.

So I would have to wait until August 1 to subscribe? There's no other way around? If I subscribe August 1, how long does it take generally to have an appointment with a technician?

The previous tenant did not change the address (correctly, or at all).
You can contact Fizz technical support to see if they can check the status of the previous tenant internet service.
Go to Fizz website (or this URL) https://fizz.ca/fr/faq/que-faire-si-je-narrive-pas-me-connecter-mon-compte-fizz then click the green icon with the " ? " which is on the bottom right of the screen. Then you can choose which platform to chat.
