PUK code
Hi,
I just bought a Fizz Sim card and need to unlock the network by entering the PUK code. When trying to enter the PUK from my plan it doesn't work I get the error message : "unsuccessful"
I've called my previous service provider and they are unable to help.
I'm not sure what I should be doing to fix this problem?

Thanks for the help Ihssan. The problem was caused by the phone I'm using, which needed was requesting the PUK but was in fact requesting the master unlock code.

Puk code is needed when you enter the wrong pin 3 times. Pin in disabled by default on all fizz sim cards.
Unlock the network means your phone is locked to another provider.
Where and when did you get your phone ?

I got it 4-5 year ago from Virgin Mobile. I'm guessing it's locked by them but isn't the PUK code suppose to be doing just that, unlocking it from this provider ?
Also when entering the pin the first three time, was I supposed to enter the Virgin mobile one ? or just enter PUK since it's disabled on fizz sim cards?

Well if you entered the puk that you have in your fizz account and doesn't work stop trying.
If you bought the phone before December 1st 2017 its locked to virgin call them you need to provide the EMEI code. Compose *#06#.
