Hello everyone,

I'm trying to connect a Ubiquiti ER-X to the first port of my Fizz router in order to give an internet connection to my homelab.

What I did till now;

-Went on the fizz router to turn the port to on

-changed my erx config to speed 1000 and full duplex manually as seen on the fizz router

My ER-X says that the port is disconnected and all I see on the fizz router is a yellow light blinking.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance

    Hey @Mounira,

    Which methods are you using to connect "DHCP" or "Static" ?- please follow the DHCP mode for installation. Also, make sure to "Connect the PoE cable of a PoE switch or adapter to the eth0/PoE In port of the EdgeRouter".

    If that doesn't work, try using a Router and set your modem to "Bridge mode" - then try connecting your ER-X and see if that was successful.

    Give us some feedback and let us know what worked and what didn't..

    Hello,

    I think you might need to talk to Ubiquiti for help.

    Wish I could help you with that but unfortunately I have no experience with that. Yellow Blinking light usually indicates there is a problem with the connection. Have you tried resetting the router?

    Hope somebody can help you with your problem.
