Bad LTE coverage

I just switched from videotron assuming I would get a similar coverage, but it’s been spotty in very urban areas. I’ve had ip phonecalls cutting and 3g just outside of Montreal. I’m on IOS using automatic network selection, which should work right away IMO. I didn’t have the update prompt while activating the sim card, but I did a full network reset and it started to work. Can I get help about this? Or should I switch carrier?

    Hi Felixp,
If you tried out the tips Fizzy provided and those didn't help you, you can contact us directly as he indicated and we can help you out further.

Firstly, though, I'd recommend you make sure that you have the latest IOS version, 14.4.2., and then test to see which of the manually selected networks work better.
Also, please try to change the network mode under your carrier settings to WCDMA/GSM and see if that works better than the LTE option.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

    Have a good one!
