    Just a quick note about your modem after putting it in bridge mode. The modern will not appear on your network with the same subnet as assigned by your router (ex: it won't be in the 192.168.1.x IP range, if that's what your router assigns as IP addresses). To access your modem, it will now have IP address 192.168.100.1 instead. This is useful if you need to make changes to your modem like reboot it or remove the bridge mode without performing a factory reset. This is surprisingly not very well documented.

    Yes you can. Just put your router in bridge mode for that.
