Hi.
Maybe a stupid question, but I'm trying to understand how is it possible that I already have 1Mo of data usage today (as of 6ham) when the iphone is actually on my home wifi network? And of course, the phone has not left the house!
Thanks

It might be possible that your phone lost Wi-Fi connection for a very brief moment. It might have used data during that “lag”4

If you are using an iPhone (I don't know about Android devices), but there's an option where the phone uses cellular data to help out wifi in case the wifi is having trouble.
The option should be turned off under Settings -> Cellular ->[scroll down] Wifi Assist.

Hi Mario,
this is a good guide
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/my-telephone-is-using-an-usual-or-high-amount-of-data-why
from that guide
The steps to follow to check your data usage can vary depending on the type of phone you have. Here are two examples:
Android: Settings → Connections → Data usage → Mobile data usage
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Cellular data usage3 -
I agree with Gabibel, it’s likely the Wi-Fi assist (which is really cellular data assist) and sometimes your phone will try to get location data etc accessing Cellular data. You can try resetting your stats and see if the number of mb you are using is coming from the wifi assist feature.7

Hello Mario,
I have verified your account and I see that you have left 1.27 Gb of data mobile. You can see your usage by going to My Plans >>Details >> Daily usage: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-view-my-usage
Please contact us if you encounter any other situations. Here you can find how to contact us: https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us
