I'm with Videotron internet and I'm switching to fizz. I want to know if your technician need to get in to the house. My cable is still connecting to the router of Videotron and I'm not able to remove it unless I need to cut it. Will you provide a new coaxial connector.

I switched from Videotron to fizz. The tech huy gave me the box and waited in his truck until I plugged everything in myself. Fizz uses the same cable as videotron. Super simple to set up, the tech guy didn’t have to come in at all.

Same here, I had my installation this week.
The technician gave me the box and gave me the choice whether I install it by myself or I let the technician enter.
I choose to install it by myself. I was with Videotron so I just unplugged the Videotron modem and installed the Fizz one.
The tech was waiting in his truck until I finish

No! But if you are not there, the tech can’t verify your connection

    Ka,
You need to be there the day of your installation.
The technician will check the signal of your internet connexion (if no câble is needed) and will give your the modem.

Definitely do not cut it. Otherwise connecting is easy. Just follow the steps on the covid page of fizz.
