Currently a prepaid customer at Fido, can I transfer my number to Fizz?

I would like to confirm if I can keep my old cell number, I am currently a prepaid customer at Fido, so I don't have an account number since I don't receive bill.

    How many days does it take for the transfer of phone number? It will give me an idea when I should initiate the transfer before my fido account expires, thanks!

    Hi Kai,

    As others mention, you can use the IMEI of your phone.

    You will need to activate, transfer your number and enter your credit card all at once.
    So you can do this 1 or 2 days before your Fido account expires (in case of any unforeseen issues).

    Yes you can transfert your actual phone number to Fizz.
    You can buy a Fizz sim card at Couche-tard (in the Mtl area and North shore).
    Just keep your Fido plan active before your transfert at Fizz.

    The most important is that you MUST NOT cancel your account with Fido until your number is transferred, otherwise you're gonna loose your number.
