Sim card suddenly not connecting to network

Since Wednesday night, I cannot receive calls, make calls, receive SMS or use my Data. Before then, everything was working just fine. Nothing happened to my phone that would explain why I cannot connect to the Fizz network anymore. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I can still see my contacts that are stored on the SIM card, so the SIM port is not damaged. I tried restarting the device; it did not work. APN is still correctly set. I am able to find 5 different Fizz networks (FIZZ, FIZZ, FIZZ EXT, FIZZ EXT, FIZZ EXT), but I cannot register on any of them. After that, I tested my SIM card with two other unlocked Samsung Mobiles (another Galaxy S4 and a Galaxy S8+), still not working. Could it be the SIM card that is damaged? Why would it suddenly be damaged? I already bought a replacement that I should receive today (2019-11-22). I hope I did not buy it for nothing.

You should try to put a SIM card from another phone to see if your phone work well.
You don't have payment problem ?
.
To keep the same number don't forget to activate your knew SIM that way.
My plans > Manage > Change SIM card > activate your SIM card
.
If you still have problem with the new one, contact the support

To Fling: No I do not have any payment problems. My credit card is saved in my account, has not expired and has a good amount of credit available. I paid for the month of November already and I still have 6 days left until the next payment/renewal. And yes, I know that I will have to activate the new SIM card. Thank you for the quick reply. I really hope changing the SIM card will solve the problem. If not, I think I am screwed.9

I hope the new one will resolve this issue. There is a good chance it will work fine if you try your SIM in another phone and the same problem happen. Your SIM card is dead.12

David,
I think, the problem is your sim card. You did try another sim card and your telephone is working well.
You'll have to buy a new sim card,, unfortunately.11 -
Once you receive your new SIM card, Log into your account to change your SIM card (My plans > Manage > Change SIM card).

Dead SIM card is something new to me. Hope it works out for you, otherwise contact Fizz.
You can always sell or gift the SIM card to someone if that was not the problem.9 -
David,
Your sim card must be broken.
I don't know if there is any warranty on them, you need to check with Fizz.
Otherwise, you need to order another one.9 -
Please do give us some feedback as to whether you problem is resolved when your receive your new SIM.6
