I understand that you cannot transfer a number over an already active plan CURRENTLY. Hence, my question is: will Fizz ever permit number transfer to an existing plan IN THE FUTURE, that is transfer number over an already active plan at some point?
I have a number with a different provider that I would like to port into Fizz and replace my current number WITHOUT losing my plan and the perks associated with it (I subscribed with Fizz as an early bird in March 2019).
Any ideas if this would ever be an option one day?

Here is an alternative suggestion .... if it fits your situation.

You can get yourself a voip plan on for instance voip.ms. Port your number to them, then forward that number to your Fizz account. Over time, you can slowly migrate your contacts to your newer Fizz number.

it certainly seems like a necessary step in the evolution of fizz as a company. However, it is hard to know how much they’ll prioritize enabling such infrastructure as opposed to other things that they have to work on
