Sorry you need to have a new SIM or you need to unsubscribe your actual Fizz plan and wait the end of your plan and reused the SIM.12

Have you friend contacting them through the support bubble or messenger.
It’s unfortunate that you cannot do it on your own but maybe support could do the port-in10 -
I agree with Mike but maybe try contacting Fizz customer support and see if they can do something for you...
You can chat with them online. To do that: You need to make sure you're logged in then go to Solution Hub and click on any of the questions (e.g. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activate) After a little while you should be able to see a green chat bubble in the right-hand corner of the page.10 -
You can ask customer support, but they have set it up so that you can port transfer only at time of activation.
When you already have a mobile plan, you can request a number change, but porting is reserved exclusively for new activations.

You will need to get a new sim and go to My plans -> Manage plan -> Change SIM card -> Activate your SIM card and follow the steps to transfer your number. You can keep your older SIM card and reuse it (as long as you have the Activation code).
Don't unsubscribe and wait until your plan ends since you run the risk of possibly losing your number (although unlikely).7 -
Hello Cheran,
To be able to transfer your phone number to Fizz, you will need a SIM card that is not attached to an active plan. You cannot transfer your number over an already active plan. You line with the previous provider needs to be active also. Regarding the SIM card, Mike has the right answer.
Once you have it, you can transfer your number. Here you can find the steps you need to follow to do so: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz .
Thank you for your understanding!
Have a good one!
