In the gatineau area it works, but since it uses the Vidéotron cabling, I don’t believe it will make it across the river to ottawa.5

I don't believe that'll be possible because Fizz is a subsidiary of Videotron that use their own network and the cable service in Ottawa is provided by Rogers.4

If you are a DIYer and have a friend in the Gatineau area you could try setting up a nanostation on the other side of the river and transmit the internet signal wireless. Oh, you'd have to be in the line of sight of this friend also.

At the moment there is no plan to expand our service for Home Internet plans, but in the future who knows.
