How to I change the IMEI?

I activated my account and transferred my number to the new SIM but realized that I entered the incorrect IMEI (but I did also put my correct account number from the previous service provider). How do I fix the IMEI so the number can be transferred?

Do contact support to make sure, but they don't need your IMEI to port your number. Your account number is the most important thing. They will be able to find you with that. I am not even sure why they ask for the IMEI. People change phones all the time.14

Hello @Xia,
You can try to re-port your number in via the email you received telling you that the port did not successfully go through or through your Fizz account, by clicking on the notification icon "Bell". In order to make sure you are entering the correct IMEI please only input the first 15-digits of your IMEI. To make sure you have the correct IMEI dial *#06# on your device that you were using with your last provider.10 -
Ok the number has been transferred but now the iMessage is not activated, just keeps on saying “waiting for activation”.10
