Does Fizz gives back your money automatically after switching back to your old company?

Hello guys, may be as you must know, this company is HORRIBLE, there's no customer service phone number, there's service outages, the chat bubble never works, if you don't take minutes with your plan they disconnect your phone (you cannot receive calls, just messages), well... fortunately i switched back to FIDO, my question is if you guys know about the service warranty? They say if you switch back to other company within 15 days you'll have a refund, but after all the problems they have i'm not quite sure. I paid with my card, so do you guys know if they are gonna refund me directly to my card? THANK YOU!!

Seriously the customer service is awful, I'm really considering moving back to my old provider also, The outages I can understand to some extends, they just started but the issue is there no communication what so ever so your left in the dark every time it happens, very scary stuff.23

Hi,
Fizz is entirely prepaid, so I'm pretty sure you would not get reimbursed the amount you fronted for the first month since the service will still remain active until the end of your monthly agreement.22 -
I would hope so too. Please update this thread with the results. Every person has a different result and with many that are negative but entirely unreproducible. Not quite sure how to deal with that.23

Check guys this is what I’m talking about, and Sean, I’m not longer having service and the plan is disconnected. So they are supposed to respect that, but if they cannot solve a chat issue, I'm not sure about other problems...22

Kinda hoping to find an answer also. I had such a bad experience so far in only two days I don't even dare to continue. Even though I was told we get a full refund, with all the problems I've had I don't trust the refund to work...22

Yeah they should it is in the contract also here is What they told me:
Si vous résiliez la ligne de test dans 15 jours suite à l'activation, un remboursement automatique sera effectué.
Bonne journée.

You have 15 days to cancel after activation of your plan. It's written in section 3.1 of your contract. Better to read this section as there is some restrictions about what, when and how they reimburse.

For people who Joined recently: the outage was a hiccup that won’t happen very often. I’ve been a fizz customer for a week and I that was my only issue so far. They are offering lower prices because they are still figuring things out and deploying some services. There is room to improve customer service for sure, but the thing is, how often do you contact customer service on your old carrier. IMHO, we should give Fizz some slack, they even explain on their page why they are offering introductory prices.22

Also, I was a bit hesitant to move to fizz before, but I asked the firends and colleagues who are with videotron how good the coverage was, and they were all pretty happy with it. So I see a lot of potential for this newly started carrier, I’d stick for a little longer before changing back so quickly.21

@Danton P. I'm going to disagree with you. Yes there's a discount and I'm willing to put up with a buggy website and MMS issues (which I rarely use) and 2-factor authentication texting issues.
But I'm not willing to put up with not having access to the service that I'm paying for. There's a reason why I didn't go with Wind/Freedom even though it was cheaper too. There's no point in paying X amount for unreliable cell service. No matter how low X is. In my view. Your view is different and that's fine.22 -
I concur with @Danton P., I'm a happy Beta tester. Hope u guys will give Fizz a little bit more time.
For those who are switching out, call your previous provider and see if they will offer u EXTRA win-back bonus. Let's put it this way, Fizz does help to bring down $/increase bonuses from other carriers. We all benefit with Fizz as an added competition in the mobile world.
If u go now, please do re-reconsider Fizz whenever they have promotion that catches your eye, few months from now?! Thanks everyone, staying or going ^^.

Hey Ruben,
I'm sorry to read about all the different situations you and others have described in this thread.
Hopefully, you'll decide to try us out again in the future
To answer your questions, there is a great FAQ that you can read that should answer your questions about trial periods: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/unsubscribe "
Thanks,

My friend has been using it for over a month and hasn't had any problems so far. Fizz is still new and developing so you have to take that into consideration.20

15 days money back in section 3 of terms. The time you spent to find their customer support may worth more than the refund you'll receive. Contact them to get a reference number first. and come back to ask refund when they have more support resource. Now it's impossible to find someone to respond to any inquiry.10

This is how much they refund you.
It seems like they give you back just the money for sim card.
Does anybody recieved the full ammount once unsubscribed?
Fizz team , how do you explain this?9 -
No as I was heard.2

Following the answer to this, yes they refunded me what I paid, but not automatically!! You have to contact them via email and complain that you haven't received the refund, after they proceed.3
