Update (22:59 pm):
The problem is still being resolved. Rest assured that all our resources are mobilized to restore the mobile phone service as soon as possible.
Our customer service is closed at this time, however, we still wanted to keep you informed of the situation. More information will follow tomorrow morning.

Did you decide to rollout service SMS fix finally and it failed?43
-
Thank you for the quick response. Hopefully, this gets resolved ASAP.
I thought that all the major bugs had been resolved since the beta had ended.
Oh well ¯\_▐ ☯ ︿ ☯ ▐_/¯43 -
when will it be available?39
-
Any ETA until the network is back online?38
-
Any ETA? Been one hour with no service.39
-
Thanks for the heads up but I hope it'll get solved quickly.38
-
ETA??? Did anyone seen my unicorn? I'm being sarcastic here :O(38
-
Thank you for letting us know.
I'm still in the beta, but I'm curious: How will refunds for issues like this work later on? Or does the contract feature an expected service level agreement? Thank you.38 -
Ok we keep up to see what's going on,37
-
Meanwhile at Fizz HQ:
=============┏(●´Д`●)┛Employees running around screaming: AHHHHHHHHHHH!

I am currently having the same problem.
38 -
So many ETAs, why not one more! ETA on network restoration please!38

Wonder if we will get a root cause37

suggestion: the community hub forum should be its own menu item on the home page and you should be able to sticky this post to the top so you reduce how many duplicate threads people create.40

@Frank M.
5.2 Service interruption or unavailability
Your rights. You are entitled to a credit if a service is interrupted and unusable for at least 48 consecutive hours. You will have to request a refund in writing within 15 days of the end of the interruption. You are not entitled to any other compensation. The amount of the credit will be prorated based on the duration of the interruption, in the following manner:
(Monthly price of the service/Number of days included in the billing period) * Number of days of interruption
However, you are not entitled to a credit if the interruption is caused by
- a work stoppage,
- an act of vandalism,
- an order from the police or any other law enforcement agency forcing us to interrupt your services,
- any other event of force majeure or circumstances beyond our control or beyond the control of a Fizz partner service provider.35 -
Thanks to my freind Hugo L here's something that might needs your attention before jumping the gun,.

All 3 family cells down.. is this common with fizz?35
-
It’s been over an hour all 3 cells are down. We need an ETA update36
-
Yup mine is down as well. Its Been about an hour.35
-
@Sean N.
There is no ETA yet. They are working on it and this is the first massive outage.
This is also not a good thing for such a young company and with the lack of support it is really bad.35 -
My videotron works just fine, so it's not Videotron problem. It's Fizz only problem.35

@whizz
You need a better way to communicate. This community thing isn't very productive as it's questions only, not discussions.38 -
**ATTENTION**
Manually selecting Fizz EXT-2 has resolved the issue for me.
Please let me know if this works for you too.
Good Luck!

Still no network connection. When can I expect the connection back?
I made a bad decision to switch from Rogers to Fizz34 -
@Sean N.
I can only see Fizz and Fizz EXT as well, EXT 2 must only be available in certain areas34 -
same for me. I have 2 options Called Fizz and 4 called Fizz EXT. None of them work...34
-
Manually selecting Fizz EXT-2 - doesn't work on Pixel 2 - Tried both Fizz and EXT-2 and it is not connecting.34
-
Can we get any updates on this?? 3 hours and no updates is not good. A full network outage is not good. I really hope even your own "staff" are using Fizz and they are experiencing the same outage and lack of support. This is no way to treat your end users and really hope you get better or you will loose massive amount of customers.34
-
hope user will get compensation for that problèm32
-
Hey, is the issue still not fixed? Any ETA on the fix? Both of the family cells are down. And on Friday night too!33
-
How much longer???????33
-
I guess it is safe to say RIP Fizz!33
-
Hang on people. I'm annoyed as much as you but let's not crucify Fizz yet. Growing pains from a new company. I'm still beta testing. That's part of the deal.32
-
Hold on on any judgment. You got better prices and it was clear there might be some issues. I'm also not happy of no service, but I'm aware what I've signed up for. You can't have both ways. Hopefully fizz will figured out it quickly and there will be good feedback from us for future. As one for sure is that would be great to have updates every 30/60mins, even if it's all the same message, but at least we know that something is going on to address the issue.34
-
Wtf I hope I won’t regret getting fizzzzzzzzzzzz31

Here's the short chat lines I had minutes ago:
UPDATE: 9:30 pm - The problem is still being resolved. Rest assured that all our resources are mobilized to restore the mobile phone service as soon as possible.
Our customer service is closed at this time so do not wait for their presence to answer you, however we still wanted to keep you informed of the situation.
Soooooo....
1998 all over again? Beta test is tough on Fizz...31 -
Is Fizz trying to reinvent something? I mean Videotron already has the network setup and working for years now. How can this go sooo wrong??32
-
Guys, we need an update.. this isn’t a small outage.32
-
Is it a maintenance issue? Maybe next time do it during the night when traffic might be lower.31
-
Update: Its still down30
-
Pretty sure this is a main server outage.
Phones are still seeing presence of tower cells but not getting any response.32
