Fizz TV app on Roku (The problem that was never fixed)

Back in June 2025, so more than a year ago, I posted an issue that was happening when watching TV using the Fizz TV app on Roku.
The problem was that when you are watching tv and change the channel, you can only see the name of the channel and not the name or description of the program that you are watching, if you want to see the name of the program that you are watching you need to go back and go to the guide and what's playing on that channel and that is annoying.
I predicted that this problem will never be fixed because VMedia the company who created this app and supported this app had the same problem for many years, so I was right.

After more than a year since that post, I decided to try it again to see if they fixed this problem and to my surprise after more than one year later they haven't fix this, so I decided to cancel the service again and maybe they will fix this by the year 2060 😆..

I don't understand why Fizz is having hard time to fix this problem, is it that the students they hire to make this app are just entry level, anyway we are now in 2026 and the app is very much a 2010 app.

In Canada we are leader in technology but terrible in making apps...

I will try Fizz tv on Roku again in December.

And NO I don't want to switch my streaming device...
