Has Fizz ever offered a bonus/perk where you get to upgrade to 5G for so many days? It would be a good way to test the 5G network before making the decision to switch from a 4G plan.

    I suppose you could try the 15-day free trial for anyone looking to test out Fizz before switching: https://fizz.ca/en/mobile/free-trial. But you'd have to have a different phone number.

    That is correct. If your phone is eSIM-compatible, you can take advantage of our 15-day free trial. Alternatively, you can subscribe to a regular mobile plan and test the service for up to 15 days. If you decide to cancel within the first 15 days following the plan's activation date, you will receive a refund for your subscription. This is also available because the Fizz free trial is not available in Quebec.

    If you already have a plan with us, you can just create a new Fizz member account for testing; you just need a new email address.
