Has anyone here been successfully using a dumb phone/feature phone other than the TCL Flip ?

I have been with Fizz from their very start, but am now considering leaving and paying a couple more $ every month, to be able to use a better quality ''dumb phone'', than the TCL Flip; if I can't find some other alternative soon, that is.

My smartphone stopped charging a week ago and I was almost happy when it happened, since it meant I could finally switch back to a brand new ''dumb phone''! When I arrived at the store though, I was quickly disappointed. This flip phone looks like the ones we had back in the day, but when I went to buy it, I noticed the hinge seemed frail/easily breakable, unlike even the cheapest of the old ones. I also already didn't like that it came with Facebook pre-installed on it, since the main idea of switching back to a ''dumb phone'', is to get away from social media. That didn't help! I ended up leaving without it and just transferring my sim card, into an old laggy smartphone and am now hoping to find a solution before this one also becomes unusable...so any suggestion you might have would be appreciated!

    To ensure a phone works properly on the Fizz network, the best first step is to consult the list of Fizz VoLTE-compatible devices. Phones on this list are officially supported and guaranteed to work with Fizz: How do I know if I can use my own phone with Fizz? | Fizz

    If your phone is not on the list or was not purchased from Fizz, it's important to verify that it supports VoLTE on the Fizz network. You can do this by dialing #TEST (#8378) from your device. This test will confirm whether VoLTE is properly enabled and compatible with Fizz: Incoming Calls and VoLTE | Fizz

    Your idea is to stay away from social media, then just don't use them.

    I have all kind of apps on my phone that come with default phone O/S installation, I simply don't use them. Just move them out of your phone home page and that's it.
