Do I get a new router?

Howdy, beginning from August 3rd, I will get a new plan for 400 Mbps, upgrading from 200 Mbps. In the 400 Mbps plan a new router is shown. Do I get a new router after changing the plan?

As Goldfinch informed you above as well, I understand your enthusiasm for this new equipment. But as stocks are limited, we are prioritizing members with technical issues for the time being.

Since we're working with limited inventory, we're rolling out the new Wi-Fi modem gradually. Inventory availability dictates the pace, and at this point we have no details as to when this new modem model might be available to our existing members. Rest assured, however, that the modem you currently have is not obsolete. It's fully functional and capable of meeting your needs, and you'll benefit from the same support and updates.

From what I understand of what Fizz has told others, the new modem is currently only available to new customers, as they have limited supplies, and the older modems are still in market.
