My mom hates technology and current neither has a cellphone nor internet. However her Bell bill is getting expensive and is looking to get off her landline. She does not like the idea of having to relying on a battery phone. She would rather continue to use her corded phones. So I am looking into getting her a system (something like a fixed wireless terminal) that would allow her to use her corded phones with a cellphone service, while also using the same service on a flip phone. So I would need to different sim cards connected to the same number. Is that possible?

Thank you

    Hello @Stephanie C. #15365
I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to inform you that each SIM card must be associated with a unique phone number. As a result, it is not possible to have the same phone number active on two separate SIM cards at the same time.
There are, however, a few alternatives that may meet your requirements, such as a Bluetooth-to-Landline Adapter or a Wireless Home Phone Hub. If you would like to learn more about these options, simply search online for "how can I use my corded phone with a mobile phone in Canada", and you should find helpful information on the subject.
If you are considering changing providers, please note that transferring a landline number to Fizz is currently not possible. However, some Canadian providers do support landline-to-mobile number transfers. In such cases, the number would become a mobile number and would therefore require a mobile device.
I wish you a wonderful weekend!

We cannot suggest systems outside Fizz on the forum.

Different SIM cards would have different numbers. Perhaps a flip phone with no data or text, only calling?

Another option could be a home phone with a SIM card slot, so it does not change her habit and cut down her Bell landline bill.
