Sending MMS text message with no text plan

I have a plan with voice and data, but no text plan. I do have money in my wallet and pay 5c per text as pay-as-you go.

Fizz FAQ on the subject seems confusing, as it states a text plan is required to send MMS.

So my question is, can I send MMS text if I have money in my wallet, or do I have to add the monthly text option to my plan? I presume I will pay 5c per MMS text sent if it works as pay-as-you go? Also, I presume receiving MMS works? I have nobody to test this with.

    Hello @Billy01 ,

    Thanks for your post.

    In order to be able to send Multimedia messages, you need data included into your plan and also texts.

    If you don't have texts, you can use the money from the Wallet to send MMS.

    Please make sure that your mobile data is activated and you have funds into your Wallet to work.

    I also do pay per use for text messages. I have an Android so most of my messaging is via RCS. When texting friends who do not have RCS, it comes out of my wallet. I have successfully sent messages to these friends beyond the length of an SMS. I believe this sends them as MMS. These are also billed at the 5¢ per message.
