modem not connecting after power outage
we had a 3 minute power outage about an hour ago, but modem is still not connecting to the Internet since then. I have unplugged and plugged back its power cable three times already every 10 minutes and still nothing. only the power light is on and the "downstream" light is flashing quickly, while the LAN indicator comes on and off.
tired of waiting and need to sleep. hopefully it comes back online when I wake up...

Hi, at this moment, go to the Hydro-Québec website and see if there is a power outage near your home. This could explain why it is not working at your place.
If it still doesn't work when you wake up, then unplugging it and plugging it back in should work.
@Whizz can also confirm if there is a breakdown near you.

Sorry to hear about the issue.
I verified your modem`s signals and they appear to be online ( it was offline until recently but now it`s back on track ).
On your side, I kindly invite you to unplug the modem from the power outlet for 15 seconds then plugging it back in.
Wait and check if you have a connection - if you don`t please factory reset the modem by pressing the small button on the back above the Ethernet ports and redo the installation.
