Travel add-on not working to destination country, by example I was in Belgium could not call Belgium..!

I complained in chat but they seem to be deaf..

I chatted today with Andrei who convinently escaped midchat and then with Alioune , I never had such a bad conversation they just so misunderstanding and unhelpful

 I’m truly sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience you had while contacting us, and I apologize for the frustration this caused. That is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

I’ve personally reviewed your account and verified the travel add-on you mentioned. The add-on was purchased on November 11 and remained active through the end of your billing cycles in December and January, expiring on January 7. At this time, the add-on is no longer active on your line.

That said, I can also confirm that while the add-on was active, it was successfully used while roaming in Belgium, including both incoming and outgoing calls. You can review this activity yourself by checking the usage details from that period.

Did you try rebooting or toggling airplane mode for a minute to re-register on mobile network after the add-on was activated?

Roaming must be turned on.
My travel addons in Europe and Mexico have been flawless.

My travel addons have worked fine in the past but I’d just buy a 3rd party esim to avoid issues like this in the future

3rd party travel sims typically don't offer calls at all. And that's what Mos is asking about. And even if a few of them do, finding one that supports Belgium specifically at a reasonable price is like a needle-in-a-haystack.
Local sim from one if the Belgium networks would work, but is usually too complicated to organize for a short-term, one-time visit.

@Mos: I've not used travel addon for voice before but I noticed a few peculiarities nevertheless. For once, it seems to make a difference if you are using VoLTE on the guest network or fallback to 2G or 3G. Even though, I had no voice addon, I was able to call 1-800 numbers in Canada when on VoLTE but not when on a 2G or 3G network. Try to see if that makes any difference. You should be on the BASE network if I remember correctly from my last trip that included Belgium.

So frustrating! Definitely keep trying to connect with Support and if all else fails consider a travel esim (and request a refund from Fizz for the travel add on).

its not about restarting , it allows calls to Canada, but not in destination country I had it in Belgium and in Israel too, worst thing is the cs attitude.
