FizzTV on Samsung's Fizen 9.0

Hello,

Is there a plan to update the FizzTV app so it’s compatible with Fizen 9.0? Since the latest OS update, the app no longer appears in the App Store, which prevents me from downloading it. I understand that it is currently compatible with versions 7.0 and 8.0, so I was wondering if an update is planned to support version 9.0.

For reference, my TV region is correctly set to Canada, and I have followed the recommended procedure outlined here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-connect-device-view-my-tv-content.

    I’ve been following the same issue with the FizzTV app on Tizen 9.0 TVs, and it looks like you’re not alone—several users have reported the app disappearing from the Samsung App Store after the OS update.

    Fizz’s official FAQ still lists compatibility only up to Tizen 8.0 (with some exceptions), and forum responses confirm no update yet for 9.0, though they’ll announce when one’s ready.

    Workarounds that have worked for others include using a Fire Stick, Chromecast, or even the web browser version until Fizz pushes an update. I’ve set my region to Canada too, but no luck—hopefully they roll it out soon since Tizen 9 is widespread now.

    Unfortunately, nobody knows. Fizz will let us know when it's available.

    The Fire Stick 4K Max is the best for this.

    Caution, not buy Fire Stick with Linux OS. Don'T work with Fizz.
