I currently have British Columbia plan but I missed an important call and can't call it back even though it's within my province the number was (778) meaning it's all of BC. I had to pay an extra $6 for 60minutes because it was an important call.

I can make calls to other people in BC but sometimes it thinks it not in my province/area code. Fizz if possible please credit me @Whizz back $6 :)

    Hello Ekay,
    I’m sorry for the confusion!
With a Provincial plan, calls are free within your local area, but calls between different cities (like Vancouver to Kelowna) count as long distance, even if they share the 778 area code.
To avoid those $6 Add-ons in the future, I recommend switching your coverage to 'Canada' in your plan settings.
It’s usually only about $2 more per month and makes every call within BC and Canada totally free.

    Have a wonderful day.
