To do so, please make sure that you are still within your current subscription period with your provider and that your phone number is eligible for transfer. Eligibility can be verified with our support team.
If your number is eligible, you will need to activate a SIM card—either a physical SIM card or an eSIM.
If you are using a physical SIM card:
Please visit fizz.ca/activation to activate your SIM card. When you reach the step where you are asked to choose a phone number, select the option to transfer your number to Fizz and follow the on-screen instructions. Ordering and activating an eSIM is done at the same time directly on Fizz.ca. Once you complete all the subscription steps—including choosing your plan and selecting the option to transfer your number—an eSIM will be assigned to you in our systems. More details are available here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/install-and-activate-esimIn both cases, to validate your identity and confirm that the transfer request is legitimate, your current provider will send you a text message asking you to confirm the transfer. You must reply YES within the specified timeframe. If you do not confirm in time, the transfer request will be cancelled and you will need to start the process again.

Hi, do not cancel or remove the SIM or eSIM from V.. before receiving confirmation via SMS from your previous provider for the number transfer.
Once confirmed, then you can change your SIM.
