Please unblock the voicemail app for GoogleUS accounts

Trying to download the Fizz Voicemail app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.streamwide.fizz.vvm when physically living in Canada but with a GoogleUS account:

"This item is not available in your country".

Please unblock the app, at least for GoogleUS accounts. Switching Google accounts to a different country is a very big change (among others: you have to destroy your Google family) and blocking the app like this does not serve much purpose.

You are be able to switch your region within Google Play.
You will have to set up a payment method that is from the country, so a debit/credit card from a Canadian financial institution should suffice.

But you mentioned that you can't make the switch without sacrificing Google Family group so the only other option would be to create a new Google account and setting up a payment method from Canada (and most likely using another phone number to create the account)

If you absolutely need the app, I don't recommend it but you might be able to install the app via APK. Be very careful where you source the app from as it can be a security risk.

What keeps you from creating a 2nd Google account in Canada? If you have valid payment cards from both countries, it shouldn't be any problem. Android phones can easily manage both accounts.

The availability of the Fizz Voicemail (VVM) app on Google Play is determined by Google Play Store country settings, which are tied to the country associated with your Google account. At this time, the app is only available to Google accounts set to Canada, and unfortunately Fizz does not have the ability to override or unblock app availability for accounts registered in another country (such as GoogleUS).
We fully acknowledge that changing the country of a Google account can be a major step and may impact other Google services (including Google Family). While we pass this type of feedback along internally, any change to Play Store regional availability ultimately depends on Google’s policies and technical constraints.

In the meantime, here are a few alternatives you can use:
- Access your voicemail using the phone dial-in voicemail service
- Use visual voicemail features directly supported by your device, if available
- Use a secondary Google account set to Canada (some customers choose this option specifically for regional apps)
