Current phone to old to transfer SIM to new phone

Hello,
Recently my phone Xs which i had for quite a while now has been having a lot of issue, half the screen doesn't work anymore, it sometimes shutdown for no reason. My sister who got a new phone recently was kind enough to give me her old iphone Xs which is in much better shape than mine. when i came to set it up i had an issue with the eSIM transfer. It seem that my phone doesn't support this process. So i was wondering if any of you knew how i could do the transfer.

    Hello Pandalover123, 
    If the phone is compatible with eSIM technology, in order to be able to install the services on it, you will need to request an eSIM change from your Fizz account. 
    This way, you will receive a new code to scan and install it for your phone number. 
    In order to do that, you can access My plans- Manage plans- Change my SIM and then follow the on-screen steps.
