I just joined Fizz Mobile yesterday. Porting my number from Telus went very smooth and 3 hours later my iPhone was ready on Fizz network.
My wife and daughter also would like to join Fizz Mobile.
My daughter used to be on Telus prepaid and ported her number to Fongo 3 months ago.
I would like to know if we can get that number
Ported to Fizz Mobile?
Can you please let me know if we can just get her a new account and new number and try to Port the number from Fongo once she has a Fizz account?
Or that will be to late it has to be done during account set up if it's possible at all?

Hi, I don't see why not.
You can either have a few plans on your own account, or have each plan on a different account, if you choose to do that, make sure to use your referral code so you'd get the plan credit on on both original and new account.

No, you cannot port a number directly from Fongo to Fizz because Fizz does not accept direct VoIP number transfers. However, you can transfer your Fongo number to another mobile provider first and then port it to Fizz.

Also, please note that once you activate a new number from Fizz, you cannot port any number, mobile or otherwise into that existing Fizz plan. You would have to open a new plan for that number you want to port in.

Opening a new plan with a new account is the best, because you’ll get both a $$$ referral bonus!

You can't post in from a voip company.
You also can't port in after you setup a fizz account. You can only port in during account setup.

    Hello @Srecko ,

Thanks for your interest in our services.
In order to transfer your number to Fizz, the number must be active with the previous provider. We will disconnect it during the transfer.
Your phone number must be a mobile number. If it's associated with a landline or VOIP, it cannot be transferred over to Fizz. You must check with your previous provider if the number is or not VOIP to make sure if it will work.
Also it must start with an area code from our subscription area.
Here you can find more details:https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz
You will need the account ID of the previous provider ant the IMEI of the phone.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
    Have a nice day.

Yes, porting number has to be done during account set up.
