Fizz receiving messages after switching from iphone to android

I dont seem to be receiving my imsgs as texts now that I've switched from iphone to android. Is there a way to permanently switch it off?

I have verified your account, and your plan is active, with SMS included.
I suggest restarting your phone and resetting your network parameters by going to go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth and tap RESET SETTINGS. You may need to enter your PIN or password to confirm. This action will reset your Wi-Fi, cellular data, and Bluetooth settings to their default states, so you will need to re-enter passwords and re-pair devices after the reset.

If you prefer, you can turn off this function. To stop receiving iMessages on your Android device, you must first disable iMessage on the Apple device associated with your phone number by toggling the iMessage setting to "Off" in the Messages settings. If you no longer have access to your old Apple device, you can deregister your phone number from iMessage on Apple's website to ensure messages are sent as standard SMS/MMS text messages to your Android.

When you switch from an iPhone to an Android, messages sent to your number may not reach your new phone until you disable iMessage in your iPhone's settings or deregister your number from Apple's iMessage system frim your Apple account0
