0GB data plan

Hello everyone, hope you’re doing well.

I learned recently that it is possible to have a standalone plan for smartwatches. I know it’s currently not possible with Fizz, I wish it would, but I would go with Bell probably.

The thing is, I want to reduce the amount of data that is on my current phone plan? Why? Because I don’t feel like I need my phone when I am at school or work, thus the smartwatch being enough.

I would like to know the following; is it possible to put 0GB on my phone plan (but still have unlimited texts and minutes) but still have access to My rewards which totals to 1.25GB per month?

    Yes you can
    But you cannot ask for data gift from others

    Yes, you can choose the 0 GB plan with unlimited minutes and unlimited texts.
    You can also use your bonus GB.

    You can change your plan to a no data plan. The change can be made under My plans, Manage, Change my plan and will be effective starting the next payment cycle as we are prepaid.

    Fizz can only guarantee SIM cards functionality in mobile phones that are compatible with our network, here you can find the models:https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices

    We tested the service on mobile phones only, we cannot guarantee it will work in a smartwatch, but you can try.
