Can't make out going international calls

Hi

I paid for the travel minutes on my plan and am currently in Ireland. But so far I have been unable to make any outgoing international calls. Only receive.
My account says I have used minutes already on my minutes plan.

I really need to be able to make calls home for banking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I verified your account and I can see that the travel add-on is active. It appears that you also have a small usage, so it should be working.

Please make sure that your phone selects the mobile network automatically. You can follow these steps: 

Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search networks → Automatic
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Network Selection → Automatic

Also, please make sure that you have the latest Android/iOS version installed.

Did you try to toggle airplane mode / restart phone to reinroll in network?
You should also make sure roaming is enabled

Not sure, but when you buy an addon you can call only the local number
Did you try to insert the international prefix with +1 if you want to call home

Did you dial the Canadian number in international format? For example

+15146470999

The +1 is important.
