Modem constantly restarting itself

Every 10 minutes or so my wifi cuts out, the lights stop blinking, and all the lights except the power one turn off. This has been happening constantly all day and none of the suggested fixes have worked. Is it a faulty modem? Or could the coaxial cable be doing this.
