Did not receive a message from my current provider to confirm number transfer

I switched from Fido to Fizz on Monday with an eSIM activation and the intent of keeping my old number. I activated the eSIM but never received an message from Fido to confirm the number transfer. Right now my Fizz eSIM doesn't work and I have been billed already for it. Can I just activate another eSIM for free? If so, how? I have a ticket open since monday but no news

If you contact customer support via online chat in your account or Whatsapp they can check the status and contact other providers to solve the issue when needed.

Yes Usually this is the procedure, but I will wait the responseTry again to contact the support and check with them the official way to do it.
