Internet connection crashes multiple times a day

After moving, we had a new Fizz modem installed with the help of a technician. Since then, the wi-fi connection has been very unstable and crashes several times a day (at least 6-7 times per day). I already tried to reboot the router, but it didn't work.
We were with Fizz at the previous address, with exactly the same service plan, but we'd never had this problem. The modem was a different one, though.

Hello @Mariane R. #10260
Thank you for letting us know about this.
I have made the necessary verifications in our tools, and I see there is no unavailability declared in your sector and your modem online. However, the signals that the modem receives are not optimal.
Please make sure the modem is connected directly to an electrical wall outlet, and you are not using an extension cord for the modem's connection.
Also, please check if the coaxial cable is properly screwed at both ends and make sure it's not damaged.

Have a good one!

Hi
I don’t get it, you create a new plan or you take your modem in the new address?
When you are moving you need to bring your previous modem with you
Ask Fizz to check your line https://fizz.ca/en/support0 -
Sorry - the previous modem (and subscription) was our roommate's, so we had to get a new one. But I know it was the same plan. Thanks for the link!
