RCS not working on new phone

Hi,

I have recently switched from a Pixel 7 Pro to a OnePlus 13 and I can't get RCS chats to work on my new phone.

I have:
- Data plan with unlimited text messages
- Updated my phone
- Updated the Messages app
- Uninstalled/reinstalled "Carrier Services" app
- Disabled RCS on my old phone
- Reset network configurations
- Cleared storage and cache for the Messages app
- Restarted my phone
- Set the APN config manually
- Waited 24 hours

and still nothing.

The RCS setup says that RCS chats aren't available in my region but that's a lie since it worked on my old phone on the same phone plan.

It also seems to be a widespread problem since there have been multiple threads about this recently. Can we at least have confirmation that Fizz are looking into it instead of just copy/pasting the same unhelpful reply and locking the thread?

    Do you have unlimited SMS, but if it was working before should work now too

    I am sorry to hear that you have this issue.

    OnePlus 13 is not a compatible Fizz VoLTE phone model and we cannot guarantee the functionality of the services included in your plan in this situation. However, I suggest you update the android version to the latest version and make a test to see if the phone is VoLTE certified by dialing and calling #TEST (#8378). 

    If you have the most recent android version and the test receives a positive answer, it is possible that you device is VoLTE compatible, however, since the phone is not certified by Fizz, we cannot guarantee that there will not be limitations.
